No matter where I go, there seems to be a common language that brings all cultures and races together. This particular language is not spoken so much by our mouths as by our hearts.
From childhood, they have been our friends, protectors, and, in many cases, a part of the family. I, like so many, can personally say I have benefited from the loyalty, companionship, and, in some cases ,therapy that these creatures bring. So many times when I have found little common ground on which to build conversation, the subject of animals or pets solves the problem. There is something very wonderful about people who love animals, and their common language, known as “animal speak,” bridges so many gaps.
As a pastor, the story of the ark has great meaning. It provided the place where animals and man could find safety and peace together in violent and turbulent times. In one place, they dwelt together and trusted God to get them through. In like fashion, it is my hope that, as we grow Ark Ministry and this blog, we will be reminded of all that is good and beautiful. Join us in this venture by subscribing to the Ark Blog.
