All American citizens, registered to vote, have the privilege of participating 2018 mid-term elections on Tuesday, November 6, 2018.
As a nation we should not be silent at the polls!
In the words of our 34th President, Dwight D. Eisenhower, “The future of this republic is in the hands of the American voter.”
The word republic is of utmost importance to the structure of America government and is defined in the Merriam Webster Dictionary as:
1. A government having a chief of state who is not a monarch and who in modern times is usually a president.
2. A government in which supreme power resides in a body of citizens entitled to vote and is exercised by elected officers and representatives responsible to them and governing according to law.
For us to preserve our unique republic of the United States of America we must vote.
Martin Luther King Jr: 1929-1968, a Baptist Minister, Civil Rights Leader, and Nobel Peace Prize winner wisely said: “Our lives begin to end the day we become silent about the things that matter.”
Let us not be lazy, complacent or distracted by the confusion of this world. We encourage you to petition the Lord for His direction on how to vote, and, to boldly exercise your personal right to vote!
Please join your nation at the polls on Tuesday, November 6, 2018!
